I read a lot and in many directions but focuses mainly on Sci-Fi, Anthropology, Ecology, Environmentalism, and Fiction from the Indian Sub-continent or diaspora. Some favorite authors include: Vandana Shiva, Iain Banks, Ken MacLeod, Hanif Kureishi, Adam Zameenzad, Vikram Seth, Vikram Chandra, Wouter Hanegraaff.
Music:
Breaks, DnB, Balkan, Bluegrass, Bhajan, Kirtan, Dhruppad, Reggae, Dub, Ska, Swing, Gypsy, IDM, Ambient, Electro, Tekno, Rockabillym, Bossa Nova, Choro, Highlife, Juju, Griot... see where it's going? I listen to everything and believe every genre has something to offer. Except Metal, but I'm working on that one.
